If Florida State was at 3 in the CFP like the AP and Coaches Polls have them they would have played Washington in New Orleans.
I would have loved to see an 85% Florida State Superdome and that defense flying around against a Washington team that hasn’t faced anything like that defense this season.
Completely asinine the committee acted like football is played by one player. Florida State’s defense is championship level.

FSU should be playing Washington. Michigan vs. Texas. Pretty simple, but ESPN needed more money and put Alabama in to try and boost ratings. All about dollars and ratings and they didn’t care about screwing over Florida State. If UGA would have won, you would see FSU playing UGA most likely, with Texas sitting at home.

Amazing how many figs have gobbled that Alabama cock and accepted them being in the playoff based on Florida State opt outs and transfers that occurred AFTER Florida State was left out.
