Yeah, Trump was a stupid motherfricker for taking the advice of the director of the CDC/NIH in a medical matter.

So Trump was either:

A. A pawn of the deep state
B. A part of the deep state

Which one was it?

Do you blame Biden for the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, or does the blame only go to the idiots he appointed?

Does Biden shoulder any of the blame for the disaster at the southern border? He's not an expert on securing borders are handling asylum seekers.

Biden is not an economist. He's just following the recommendations of the economists he has hired/appointed.

He was a great manager who took the advice of world-renowned experts in the field.

I wish that were true. But will they do anything about it or roll over and just accept it?

I would say he had every reason to believe that medical professionals would actually look out for the public interest, which most private citizens who lived the majority of their lives in the 20th century would tend to believe. At the time, there was no reason to believe otherwise. In retrospect, there certainly is reason to believe otherwise now. Surely Trump is awake now. I don’t see how he couldn’t be. His worldview has to have changed since being used in 2020.

This is horseshite.

After climate change, good people on both sides, Russia Russia Russia, thousands of unarmed black men hunted by cops, etc., etc - how dim do you have to be in 2020 to take anything championed by the Left without a shite ton of skepticism?

Moreover, let’s say you or Trump was so scared of the virus that you forgot to be skeptical of Leftists - Fauci and team were retards about economics, law, education, etc. there is zero excuse for following the advice of infectious disease experts on economic, education, legal, cultural matters.

Chain of command much?

You either have a locked door, or an open door. You don’t have to be an expert to realize that. To suggest otherwise is Kamala stupid.

Trump put the power in the hands of the people, as the states decided their own course of action. It’s what allowed Ron to reopen Florida early, and on his own accord.

Get back to me when states can determine if a resident owes federal taxes.

Your analogy, like most of your posts, is shite.

Well, yeah. Exactly.

Director of the CDC is appointed by and reports to the Secretary of Health and Human Services who serves in POTUS’s cabinet.

You don’t have to be an expert to know not to believe Leftists or take economic advice from an MD. To suggest otherwise is Kamala stupid.

Trump fricked up Covid response royally. Unless you’re a big government, throw trillions at everything, let the Left roll over you kind of guy.

My point is that Trump grew up in a time that saw great medical advances and the medical professionals were revered. I can see how it would be hard to believe they would act in complete disregard for safety and health. What’s ingrained in us in youth carries forward. He probably didn’t view the doctors as “the left” at the time, especially in the beginning when the novelty of the thing was still intact.

Now, there is definitely precedent to be skeptical. I too wish he could have overwritten his old world views of medicine sooner, but it is what it is. What matters is what he thinks now.
