Isaiah 9:6 (ESV): 6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Today, we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! And the redemption of mankind!
John 1:14 (ESV): 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Rejoice, my brothers and sisters!
Hebrews 4:15–16 (ESV): 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
No matter how far you have strayed, no matter how many times you’ve turned your back to Him- He is waiting for you- with outstretched arms, full of grace and mercy, love and forgiveness!
Luke 15:20–24 (ESV): 20 And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23 And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.
There is no greater gift than the free gift of God’s mercy! On this most blessed day, I pray that He draws you to Himself, and I pray that you find the true peace that comes with having a right relationship with Him. Merry CHRISTmas!!!

If you question Jesus's existence, remember there are over 300 prophecies referencing the coming of Jesus in the Old Testament verified to be written hundreds, some almost a thousand, years before His birth.

2 Corinthians 5:11–15 (ESV): Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But what we are is known to God, and I hope it is known also to your conscience. 12 We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you cause to boast about us, so that you may be able to answer those who boast about outward appearance and not about what is in the heart. 13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; 15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

The exact date is of no importance. The fact that it actually happened is all that matters. I don’t care what day we celebrate it- just that we celebrate it.

Uhh, yeah. We know. As Cardinal Dolan said yesterday, we celebrate the birth of Christ at this time of year because long before Christ, people celebrated around the Winter Solstice as the victory of light over dark as the daylight started getting longer again.Christ Jesus is the most powerful symbol of the victory of light over darkness. 3 Billion people celebrate his birth today.

But does it bother you that this date is actually a pagan holiday in celebration of false gods. The whole reason the church chose this date to begin with???

Which just so happens to be a pagan holiday. Tell me, do you also have a Christmas tree up in your home?
"Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree..."
- Jeremiah 10:1-5

Most Christmas customs stem from these traditions. Hell, even the colors. We observe all the pagan traditions....on the pagan date....and slap jesus name on it... just another way the devil is misleading the earth.

That, like most things, depends on who you ask. If you’re looking for reasons to believe- you will find them. If you’re looking for reasons to doubt, then that’s exactly what you’ll find.
