Had Van Pran been a ‘22-‘24 recruit, Davis would’ve got him to LSU, the “he just wanted to leave the state narrative” aside. What that meant was he had no respect, and rightfully so, for James Cregg.
Cregg is back to being an assistant OL coach in the NFL. Not to be confused with being an OL coach in the NFL

Bump in a couple seasons to see how many enter the portal.

I think Brad Davis has done a simply excellent job bringing that line together and developing them.

If a few 4 and 5 star guys hit the portal because they can’t crack our lineup, I don’t see that as a bad thing.

He wasn’t the only one. Semjase tried to lead a crusade to fire him for the better part of a year. And there were others calling for his head from 21 through the first half of 22.

This is a stupid statement. He hasn’t had a starter leave. Programs will always have guys who pan out to be backups and won’t have a chance to start until late in their careers, if at all, leave for the portal.
