Glock 45 problems

My brother in law bought a new Glock45 from Academy sports in Covington a about a month ago. When he took it to the range it had several fail to eject and fail to feed issues. He returned it to Academy, and they sent it off to Glock.
Wel, he got it back from Glock but is having issues. He returned it again to Academy to again send it back to Glock.
I don't own any Glocks, but I know their reputation is supposed to be great.
Anybody else heard of this problem???

Have you tried different ammo?
My gen 1 Glock 17 did not like Blazer Aluminum cases ammo.

What ammo is bro shooting?

Tell him to stop limp-wristing it.
Seriously though, it may be the ammo if he hasn’t tried different types, but that’s definitely uncharacteristic of a Glock. I’m sure Glock will take care of the issue the second time around.

As other said check the ammo. Plenty of autos have issues with cheap ammo especially aluminum casings. Run some Winchester White box through it and if it still has issues just return it and get a new one.

I'd try some new magazines and maybe a new recoil spring.
Might be a tight chamber which would be really weird of Glock.

Sounds like he is shooting aluminum.

I have a 45 with 500 rounds through. All brass.

Has anyone else shot the pistol besides your BIL? If you or someone else can go shoot with him, make sure you both shoot 4-5 mags through and focus on GRIP. Glock’s are super reliable handguns that need to be firmly gripped or FTF issues can occur such as weak grip / one handed shooting.

Like others have said; he isn’t handling the recoil well or try different ammo. Could be both.

Either limp wristing or aluminum case ammo.
Aluminum cased ammo is the only thing I’ve ever seen jam a revolver. The cases can expand and swell up into the chamber causing a jam.

First responder is probably right about ammo. Never heard of any issues with glock ever. Love mine. Either a model 44 or 45 i forget.
