Why have the post game pressers been so short lately?

I typically like to watch the postgame pressers the next morning and usually you'll get like

5-9 minutes from Willie.
7 or so minutes from Impact Player #1
4-5 minutes from Impact Player #2
Maybe even a few minutes from a 3rd player

But lately it's been like 3 minutes from Willie and 2 minutes from a player.

Last night it was only 2:22 from Willie and no players. After the Spurs win it was 4 from Willie, 2 from Zion, and 2 from CJ.

Have our reporters run out of questions to ask them?

our local sports reporters N.O./B.R. have to be the worst in the country. It’s even worse with the Saints. They are scared to ask tough questions.

THey're not, but local fans HATE when they ask tough questions and flip out and go scorched earth on the local sports reporters that do anything but bow down to our local teams.

Did you listen to Willie’s post game last night? Jen Hale was the only one asking questions.

Maybe our reporters should do their jobs and ask better questions.

I did this morning, which led to the thread. I had noticed they had been getting shorter but last nights was comically so.

I also caught Jen was the only one to ask questions. Is no one else traveling with the team the week of Christmas?

Alot of the Pelicans reporters also cover the Saints, so being the Saints had a game yesterday they may have been pulling double duty.

Christmas could have something to do with it also, trying to hurry up and get out of there.

It’s not as if their questions matter. Everyone knows the issue/elephant in the room with the organization. Zion’s commitment to his fitness and diet. Either he picks it up, or we probably don’t even have a franchise in the next 10 years. It kind of leads to a deadened spirit, bc everyone knows our potential hangs on one, pretty untrustworthy player, that the media doesn’t feel like they have full latitude to fully go after because he’s just a kid and I think it’s pretty well known that he struggles with his mentals, especially through times of heavy criticism.

Probably has to do with the games being on the road. It’s tough to send reporters to all 82, especially when so few cover the team full-time.

Guillory splits time too covering the Heat some days, as well.

I get that, I would just assume that opposing teams beat reporters would want to take the opportunity to ask the visiting team questions too.

Last night Jenn Hale literally asked 2-3 questions to Willie. And that was it. The whole presser was 2:22.

Yeah seems like when I watch Jen Hale is the only one asking questions.
