Is he still on the team? I keep seeing thread after thread about D-line, but I haven't seen his name brought up.

He's a roster filler, at best a guy that will give you like 5-10 snaps in a game if someone gets hurt or something. Not a guy you really want in your regular rotation. Just a below average performer

I was excited when I first heard he was coming, but he just hasn't lived up to expectations. On the flip side, how much of that has to do with poor coaching? The past two years, I haven't seen one defensive player improve and I attribute that to poor coaching.

He was never any good at UF over 3 years there. Below average grade every year from PFF and was below average here this year as well. There were never expectations for him to much here, just a roster filler kid from the state they brought in to help change culture more probably. We whiffed on our better portal DT options outside of Jefferson and landed on Lee.

I think with the d line departures he can be a rotation guy earlier on
One of the I noticed about this place is guys can’t get better according to many ranters
ETA: main example being Jayden Daniels

He’s a live oak kid . Seen him play since he was 8 . He’s always just been a big kid . He looks the part but doesn’t play it . Sorta like Quincy Wiggins . The first guy you want getting off the bus in high school . I think he will play a couple snaps here or there . Will never be a starter

There was a reason we pulled his offer in the 1st place...

I have. I think Sage Ryan has gotten a lot better.
From early in the season to the end Maason Smith got a lot better.
Greg Penn has turned into a very good SEC LB, and Perkins has settled into his role nicely.
It’s hard to find examples in the secondary because there was so much attrition, but the freshmen CBs certainly held their own the last few games.

I don't like to talk bad about any player but he just looked bad fat and really couldn't generate any push. We need bodies but that was pretty bad this year from him. Maybe if he gets in condition.

They should have played him in the second half of the 2011 natty.

Reminds me of Jarell Cherry.

What expectations? He was a decent DT on bad live oak teams.
