LSU gears up for last official visit weekend | 5-stars up for grabs ahead of early signing period

Weekend Visitor List

-All 27 commitments are expected to sign on Wednesday with no holdovers with the February signing day.

-Goal of 25-30 high school or JUCO. Doesn't appear to have any final drama for ESD.

- NiTareon Tuggle is not making it in




-Happy with the WR class with the three committed and can look to the portal. Tuggle not visiting and they believe it was just a free visit and not much substance to it.





-Coen Echols visiting this weekend. He reached out and Brad Davis and staff have recruited him for a very long time. Brad Davis loves his 5 man haul.

-Guys are intrigued to see him visiting and it's a numbers game at this point. Getting the final visit before ESD. Doesn't hurt to get a kid from the Katy powerhouse to visit.

-3 years straight of elite OL classes from Brad Davis as this point.

-Have to remember that the current offensive line is up for the Joe Moore award which they could win.



-Doesn't appear any LSU commits are going to visit any other schools this weekend. No major shake ups or worried about which way they're leaning.



-Dominic McKinley's family has been hosting coaches this week. Shea was able to interview her this week.

-BK and Frank Wilson were in home. Feels like LSU could actually maybe pull this out.

-We as a fan base don't expect him so if anything it's just a great addition

-After talking to the mom Shea says that her and Frank talked about life and life after football and how LSU is going to take care of them.

-BK talked with both of the boys and said Dom was really laid back with BK the most she's seen with

-Dom is going to wait until February to sign. He's waiting to see what the staff at these other schools look like

-Dom doesn't really like recruiting and now has to reevaluate with all these possible coaching changes.

-Dom had a good senior year but Reliford had a great season year. If you get Dom it's just another good piece to the class.

-Dom is still going to a really good player. On3 is just higher than others on Reliford.

-LSU has the chance with the little brother and keeping it close. Since Darius has two years of high school left. Mom can keep it close to home and watch both boys.



-Terry Bussey is going to wait until February.

-LSU wants him at DB but he could easily get on campus and play offense.

-Another Aggie committed that LSU is pressing for. The flip from 5* OT Weston Davis along with 4* Gabe Reliford.

-Timpson isn't that far from Baton Rouge. LSU has never stopped pressing for him but now other schools are pressing as well.

-Terry could visit LSU before February


-Trey'Dez should be a 5* and has gone viral multiple times this year. Pairing him with Pimpton could be really fun to watch these next years.

-Hope to see them both next year just with their amazing catch radiuses.

-Top performers from LA championships from Sam Speigs.



-LSU looking to take less than 10 from the portal

-The needs for LSU in the portal per Shea are DB both Safety and Corner. WR will be a hole to try to plug with a proven player.

-Let's see what Maason smith and Wingo do if they go pro or decide to return. You're not going to get someone from the portal if they return.

-Joe Sloan has been active in the portal but those dominoes are falling quickly. LSU isn't giving a spot to a QB to start with Nuss. Portal QB's want to be promised NIL and starting.

-QB room is the healthiest that it's ever been. Lots of depth. Joe Sloan is navigating it very well and not pushing his chips all in.

-Billy says that he thinks if they can find another DL lineman interior for depth would be nice.

-Loves the LB haul in this 2024 class which I believe as well LSU LB commits Davhon Keys & Xavier Atkins in Texas UIL championship games

-Look for Jardin Gilbert to pop soon as well as Zavion Thomas
