I’m playing or I’m not??

I am sure he can, but maybe he hasn't made a decision on the topic yet.

Respect his decision
Posted on 12/12/23 at 1:15 pm to TigerDavid3527
How does it affect you?

I would be shocked if he plays and I don't blame him.
No point in risking injury. He has enough tape for evaluation, five years worth.
I don't see him playing in Senior Bowl either, only reason for him to go is to meet with teams.
He can get ready for combines and pro days.

Dude won the Heisman... he can do whatever the hell he wants and you'll be happy about it!

How about you let the man enjoy the highest individual achievement there is in college football?
Posted on 12/12/23 at 1:23 pm to TigerDavid3527
Can you get a life?
Posted on 12/12/23 at 1:24 pm to TigerDavid3527
Sure. But if he said, "I'm playing or I'm not," would you be satisfied? Seems pretty ambiguous.

Do you feel he owes you something?

Why give the other team that much more time to prepare for a different qb?
Posted on 12/12/23 at 1:34 pm to TigerDavid3527
I gave you an UV just because

As a LSU fan I wish he would play . But it would not be a wise decision to play . He doesn’t have anything more to gain and a LOT to lose .

Why does it matter
I personally think he will play a few drives and ride off into the sunset and let Nuss have the rest of the game.
Opting out used to bother me but with the number of absolutely meaningless bowl games I support and understand guys opting out of playing a glorified scrimmage.
Bowls need to end and just have a playoff going forward.

He gave us enough. Him playing in a meaningless bowl game is not going to help him in the draft. He can only hurt himself by playing.

I'm not going to play TigerDavid3527. I apologize for not letting you know sooner. I've had a few things come up this last week, but it is still no excuse.

The sponsors of the bowl will pay him $200K and/or fund an insurance policy to pay him if injured just to hype the game as having The Heisman winner.

Posted on 12/12/23 at 2:26 pm to TigerDavid3527
I hope Jayden does not play. I want Nuss to get all the practice time with the ones and I want to see what he can do after all that practice. I don’t care if we lose if it gives Kelly clarity about the path forward.

Has any Heisman winner opted out of their bowl game?
