People don’t generally forget how to coach. They either don’t adapt to changes in the game, or they get get fat, happy and lazy. I think Corey got lazy and proud. Thought he was too good to put in the work.
If he’s been humbled and reinvigorated, then I’m all for it.
If not, no.

I thunk this is exactly what happened. Got to big for his britches.
I don't know all the inner workings on him leaving but I would be hesitant to bring him back.

I think this is a fair assessment of the guy tbh. He was a very good coach and great recruiter for a long time at LSU but towards the end he was more of a liability than an asset. That evidently did not change much once he got to Florida.
