Getting hung up on individual awards.

I’d trade in every Heisman for just one national championship.
I’ve also said that I would trade all five Cowboys Super Bowl rings for just one more LSU national championship.
I’m an LSU fan. Hope they win them all but go Tigers.
I want Malik to win the award. But he’s not coming back to the bowl game to win the award. He wants the LSU record. Yes that’s an individual award but it’s a LSU award. Get it?

But we aren’t winning any titles this year. A Heisman, and all the other individual awards, are nice consolation prizes.

If you can’t muster some excitement for only our THIRD Heisman winner in 120 years of football, and see the value that brings to the LSU brand, I’m not sure what to tell you.

This isn't some epic thought. We have no chance for national championship this season, so should we exclude individual accomplishments as well?

He’s still one of our own and got mugged. He had a great season, most likely had this as a goal to win the award. No one is saying we would trade a natty for the biletnikoff.

Or the fact the LSU Heisman winners are more rare than Lsu NC..... but nobody give up a NC for a Heisman. So why is the op acting like we chose this over a NC?

Have you ever thought that we could have the same season we had and have no individual awards on top of it? I think everyone here wishes the defense could have been better and be in the playoffs right now but we can at least not be Debbie Downers on awards night and support our guys
