Exactly. And it's because the core philosophy of Central Planners (Hayek's term) be it dictators, kings or communists, they hate bothering with getting elected by the peons they must rule (for the peon's own good).
The right wing embraces capitalism because it's driven by individuals who choose what to buy and what to avoid. The individual voter does the same thing in a fair election.
When and if democracy ever ends in the U.S., it will be the left that kills it.
