I disagree. But I do worry DeSantis would be led into military conflict more easily than Trump. But that's why I said 90%.

Either way, either one would be 100 times better than Biden which is why all this consternation has been stupid as frick since day one. As I've said for six months.

So you're going to stick with Fun Bunch and give DeSantis people a pass just because a bunch of Trump people are dumbasses?

Y'all really are disappointingly hypocritical.

haha no.

look I really like Ron from a substance standpoint but he has run a dog shite campaign

I voted for trump last 2 elections but I have made it very fricking clear I have a problem with people over 75 running. had it for Biden(amongst a million other issues) but if it comes down to trump vs Biden..

I would hold my nose and vote for trumps old fricking arse against any democrat. if you would vote for someone else in that scenario ....have to question your intelligence.

I may have problems with somethings with trump but gonna have that with pretty much any candidate if you are principled. When it comes to the general election though, its time to vote for the candidate that gives the country the best chance for success and vote with your wallet.

for upper middle/wealthy people like me and you stout...we would have to be retards to vote for the democrat unless we had influence over them. Pretty sure we are a little poor for that.

I am probably voting RFK, but I never supported DeSantis necessarily

Voted Trump twice. Not voting for him this time because he’s too old, makes bizarre statements and positions these days and I just don’t think he’s got the juice. It’s ridiculous people insisted on such an old man being the Republican nominee

You do realize the irony here, right?

quote:

give us 4 more years of Biden.

Ron supporters did not give us 4 years of Biden in the first place. Look, I voted for Trump twice and will a third time but Trump’s childish rhetoric, which I look past but for some reason man a lot of MAGA can’t get enough of, and which is unnecessary, pushed a lot of fence sitters to the margins and contributed to pushing a lot of 90s type liberals to the far left. His scathing and firm way of saying pretty much everything made us all seem “far right” to the average democrat voter, who is usually quite stupid. But their vote counts just as much as yours and it doesn’t matter if you think it’s silly to try to retain those people through whatever means necessary. It’s just reality.

How you say things matters and I truly believe if Trump spoke more like a statesman, he would have retained more than enough voters to where there still would’ve been voter fraud but it would not have been enough.

Unless Biden runs, I’m worried that Trump (and the country) is fricked because Newsom will get the votes Biden is losing.

What are his most recent gun positions? What steps as POTUS do you expect him to take to limit the 2nd amendment for me in Mississippi/Tennessee? Do you ignore that Trump has done more to limit the 2nd amendment than anyone since Bill Clinton?

Do people forget why Trump was elected in the first place and how his popularity took off?

You don't remember the left and MSM sky screaming about Trump sending in "unmarked" fed troops to arrest and detain protestors? They were crying like he sent in the SS and peaceful protesters were being taken away, tortured, murdered and never heard from again.

I do. But more should’ve been done instead of tweeting “LAW AND ORDER” for two weeks straight

Then, when push came to shove, legitimizing the BLM movement before November, and now, years later saying that he’s honored to have a BLM endorsement

Ron is a Teddy Roosevelt carry a big stick type but a non-interventionist to begin with.

This talking point is really dumb. There is not a single gun restriction in place now that wasn't in place when Trump took office.

How should a president have dealt with crime issues that were local/state problems? Do you wanted a limited federal government or federal police running around all over the place? Because you can't have both.

Trump should’ve had control of the FBI and had counter terror teams taking control of the situation

I mean you had pallets of bricks being dropped off ahead of the night of riots.

That was 2016 though. It got old and you saw the results. Many Republicans closer to the middle were and are definitely tired of it. I personally agree with almost everything Trump says so sometimes I find it funny. For the rest of people that aren’t in agreement but can possibly be persuaded, you don’t get there by hurling out insults and scathing posts on social media. You just don’t. Look, we all know the media would have dogged Trump regardless of what he said or did, but they CRUCIFIED him because of how he acted.

I know I’m not the only conservative in here whose viewpoints have been called “far right” when I’m clearly not. That shite pisses me off to no end, because most conservatives have shifted slightly left in the last 15 years. The left doesn’t even know what far of alt right is. Whereas the new age libs have gone off the deep end that I don’t even say they’re moving left anymore, they went so far that they’ve run out of room so they’re going downward. Trump isn’t the *reason* for this but he definitely aggravated it.

You need to quit your whining dude.

Trump has disdain for conservatives. He needs to earn their votes. Until then STFU.

yep, 95%+ of DeSantis support would go to Trump, if DJT is the GOP nominee. Probably a lot of nose pinching going on though. Hey we’ve had worse choices in the past; McCain, Romney, etc. and still tried to make the best of it.
