Even if Bama lost the SEC CG, FSU still doesn't get in. It would have been UGA, Mich, Wash, Texas, with Bama and FSU on the outside.

FSU is NOT one of the top 4 teams right now. Don't care what happened in Aug or Sept., Top 4 teams at end of the season, and FSU is NOT one of them.

Did you watch them play this weekend?

I'm not saying that you're wrong, because who knows what is going on the committee's head.

However, I think FSU has a better chance of not getting jumped by Texas if Georgia wins. The problem with putting both Alabama and FSU in the last two spots is that they have to ignore Texas's head to head win over Alabama. If Georgia wins, then they can leave Texas as the lone P5 since they would be the only one with a loss.

It’s about time for all of y’all to realize that it’s Bama bias, not SEC bias.

Can't have one without the other. They are both guilty by association. Is there bias? Only as long as humans breathe. It is, after all, what we do.

And when you think about basketball, I suggest that Kansas gets the benefit of the doubt and they too enjoy a built-in bias.

So does the Oklahoma girl's softball team.

As SEC members, all of us benefit from football bias. Check the New Year's football schedule.

It's what teams get as a residual effect of all that winning. That's subjective and it's biased.

To answer your question, nothing. Absolutely nothing.

But because their QB got hurt and because they aren't Alabama it's the reason they aren't in. The dumbest thing I've ever seen in my 30 years of living.

And apparently, they also aren't Georgia 2021. Who got into the Playoffs without a conference championship. And apparently, they also aren't Ohio State who got in last season and didn't win their conference championship.

In 2017, a 1 loss non sec championship participant bama made the playoffs with ZERO top 15 wins

I guess wins and SOS didn’t matter then?

The truth is this is an invitational where a group of people choose who they want based on what feels right to them. It isn’t best, it isn’t most deserving, it’s what feels right to a single group of people. It’s wild

Humans do human things. I remember the 2016 Playoff also that included Ohio State. And guess what? They didn't go to their B1G championship game either.

So how do all these nonconference champions keep making the Playoffs? Simple, college football bias. It seems that all these 4 and 5-star recruits make people on the committee believe these teams are really good.

And then there is the underdog syndrome that occasionally infects committee members. That is when they throw the conspirator thinkers a bone and give us Cincy or TCU. And TCU couldn't even win their own Big 12 conference championship last season. Man, did those scores get ugly fast?

The committee needs good games and that's a fact. Perhaps the biggest human bias that can exist for a Playoff without FSU.

Nothing They just had shite injury luck and play in a 2nd tier conference.

There are teams in the playoff that couldn’t have beaten Louisville with their 3rd string QB.

They lost that game. We’re beaten pretty soundly. Got lucky on a Hail Mary effectively.

Star QB broke his leg. They aren't the same team without him as would be expected. They barely beat Louisville. They would get stomped just like TCU did last year. Georgia, Bama, Texas and Michigan are the top 4 teams this year. It's crazy Georgia dropped to 6 after losing to Bama by 3 points.

And yet even with their starting QB out for those games, Michigan STARTING QB threw for a whopping 8 yards more than the 2nd and 3rd string QB for FSU in the 2-3 games Travis was out.
