Someone is selling this beach house and posted it on FBM. They used this picture, which resembles the beach of a Caribbean resort. This is a nicer beach than the ones I saw in St. Lucia.

Last I remember, Cameron's beach is basically the color of mud. No visibility whatsoever. No blue whatsoever.

Maybe they've cleaned it up a bit. My dad wanted to "try" Holly Beach after a few Biloxi/Gulfport and Florida beaches in the late 1970s.

I still feel a little oily.

This is supposedly from 2020 - I remember it being browner.

Has a filter on for sure but the water there was clearer this summer due to the drought. Not as much dumping into it from the Sabine I think is what they said.

Wait. I drove to Nashville. Flew to Miami to catch a flight to St Thomas. Took a taxi to the port. Took a ferry to Lil Cruz Bay on St John. Rented a jeep to get to a beach rental ............and I could have just drove down the road a few hours to get the same experience?

Probably but a few years ago during covid me and the kids went a lot with our cargo camper and four wheelers to get outside and there was a week there the water looked pretty close to this filter.

It was the nicest I've ever seen.

Had to be rare.

Horribly over saturated. You can tell that despite being so blue the water is not clear at all

Yes but not that close to shore. The ones on Grand Isle are 50 to 100 yards out.

Yeah there are areas around this house that has them further out like that. The one in the photo is closer to protect the road right on the beachfront.

Here is an ariel view of that house and road

There is also a rock wall right on the road

I don't think it's "Photoshopped" in the sense of adding or stretching objects, but it is highly edited. The color and lighting are definitely edited to make it have happy Carribbean vibes.

Very high contrast, high color saturation, and probably brought the hue of the color in the water to be more blue.

The mosquitoes in that area could stand flat footed and f**k a turkey.
