I love Leonhard I will celebrate my arse off if we hire him.
But there’s always a but.
But I still want a recruiter at DC. Give me an elite recruiter and an average X’s and O’s guy for a 2-3 years. Let’s refill the cupboard and then let’s go for that elite tactician type guy who lives for the chalk board.
Scheme only goes so far on defense if you don’t have the dudes.
You can scheme around your weaknesses on offense. Defense doesn’t have that privilege. People scheme to your weaknesses on defense. So let’s shore those up.
But there’s always a but.

sound and smart football wins everytime regardless. You don't need 22 5* if the message gets home everytime. That being said, if you're going to go with a tactican, your position coaches need to be great at recruiting and teaching.
