Not exactly what I mean. Let's imagine you're the #1 run offense and #1 run defense. But your opponent is the #1 pass offense and #2 run defense. You're going to lose. It's not as simple as that, but that's a general summary of how schemes(WCO, Spread, Air Coryell, Erhardt-Perkins, etc vs 3-4, 4-3, 4-2, 3-3, etc.) work.
