Pretty much, no idea what they need that big building for, and the union is a joke. I know the football team was using Crowley's stadium for games, the basketball team plays at Northside Christian in Crowley, baseball must've not found a home yet, they list no home games on their schedule at all, same goes for softball.

Speaking of baseball, I see they recently added some transfers from powerhouses like Delgado, Centenary, and Hentrix College of Arkansas. I'm assuming they're telling some of these kids to go play for them and selling them on the idea of transferring to bigger/better programs, but odds are that won't happen for any of them.

Is that a cemetery beyond the left field fence?

They would lose to probably 15-20 Louisiana High School teams

I’d set that over/under line at 67.5.

Sounds like John needs to get 4 more players to be competitive

I know you were trying to crack a joke, but John was a legit good dude and it sickens me his name is the name of this fake arse program that actually has people within Acadia Parish that I know (and are good people) suckered into thinking this is some sort of legit collegiate athletic program and university.

John’s sister is married to the guy who started the “university”, though, so I guess who am I to say it’s a disgrace to link his name to it. But I just don’t like the optics vs reality at all.

Well…the new message they are telling these kids is that you can get a “pro” contract!! Nick Webre, who went to Teurlings in Lafayette and LSU played for them last spring. He’s been out of baseball for 3 or more years. He signed a”pro” contract for some private “pro“ league in Minnesota, that only plays in the summer. There’s only like 6 teams in the league. There’s no affiliation with the MLB. It’s not even a farm team at the lowest level. JMU is claiming that an alum signed a professional contract!! They’re making these kids think that they will be playing “pro“ ball in the near future

Actually has a pretty good JUCO program, so this transfer would be kids who got processed out

Slimier than trial lawyers, used car salesman and members of Congress if they’re pulling that shite.
