Nothing. I’m better at everything.

I’d probably say travel. I pretty much never went anywhere outside the SEC until I was late teens. Even then, it was DC for a few days then back home. Once I got married, travel was important to my wife, and we ended up living in Montreal for a couple of summers. We also went to Hawaii and Europe on vacations. Otherwise, we let the “real world” of kids, bills, and jobs keep us tied down. If I had it to do over again, I’d try to visit as much of this globe as possible. Travel on a shoestring budget, see the non-tourist places, and just experience different cultures before getting too old.

Being legit smitten by a female. Butterflies in your stomach/tongue tied when you speak to/head over heels smitten...

I miss being able to tell a beautiful woman how beautiful she is without her thinking I'm a dirty old man ... in actuality I simply appreciate beautiful women
These two observations resonate with me at the moment. Bless me, Father for I have sinned ... well, more like President Carter I have "lust in my heart"... no, actually more like just strong desire, that I never thought I would ever feel again at my age. For a few years I have looked back occasionally and thought I should feel lucky to have had success dating and marrying beautiful women, and be resigned to never feeling smitten again. But a month ago I went to the grocery store and working at the cash register was the absolute One Ring To Rule Them All, a teen girl with the most beautiful and perfect face that I have ever seen. My heart races every time I glimpse her, and I think I would trade everything I own to be 19 again for a week. Saying a nightly rosary as penance for my thoughts, and I'm not even Catholic any more. Jesus, thank you for letting me see her but couldn't you have done it decades sooner?

I couldn't tell you what I miss most. Probably flexibility, endurance, agility, being able to get drunk without fear of waking up in the middle of the night with excruciating reflux and heartburn. Not getting completely worn out from sex. Not carrying the weight of my whole family on my shoulders. He'll just having time. Being able to do what I want, when I want without having to report it or check the schedule to see how long I can be gone. I feel like I'm still missing alot.

Being able to work out like I used to be able to work out. Hint: Don’t skip legs. Make time to work out everyday.

I miss being able to run around like a little kid and fall down onto the ground just for fun.

I miss having hope for having a good life. Now at 50 I know better. Just waiting to die now.

My parents number one. Waking up to my mama’s breakfast was the best. Watching LSU and the Saints with my daddy was always great. I remember also just playing basketball every day at a court we made where a slab was with my buddies. Just hanging out with them was the best. I swear it could have been a movie some of the things we did. Now we are all old men I only see them usually at funerals or weddings seems like Damn I miss those days

Being able to run; to your friends house, running with your dog, even running to check the mailbox or to get something for your parents. There was a certain freedom and excitement to be able to turn on the jets, especially when you got new shoes. You always would think this next pair would make you faster. Best of times. Miss it.

Appreciate friendships more and work at them. Friends will slip away if you don’t stay in touch.
