What do Zelenski and Zesantis have in Common?

The first thing that comes to mind is they keep fighting to the last.

In Zalenskis case, he is fighting to the last Ukranian male under 40. In Zasantis case, he ain't stopping till the last shred of hope for beating the dems is gone.

Neither are going to win. In fact, both have already lost.

And here is where it gets tricky. Why?

I suspect for Zelenski it's $$$ and waiting for the golden parachute to emerge.

But what about Zesantis?
Did he enter the race to beat Trump or watch the democrats destroy the dude and remove him from the race?

He's not dumb enough to think he could beat Trump, and he's too ambitious to throw away an almost sure thing in 2028. So what he has done is he has collaborated with the very people who have been hell bent on destroying our country. Remind you of any others. How about Romney, McCain, The Bushes?

Should Trump be disqualified and DeSantis comes back and win, what will we be getting? A principled fighter? Or another in a long line of Republicans that don't mind playing ball with the treasonous Democrat Party? I think he has already shown us.

Is one trying to stomp out the corruption that stems from their brutal former over ruler? And stop a Genocide? Join the EU and NATO and, do all the things necessary to meet that ends.

And the other does f*** all

Effectively, by entering the race, he is positioning himself to gain from a corrupt system targeting a leading candidate.

If ever there was a time for unity, it was in the face of historic despotism. DeSantis should be railing against the dark forces who have overtaken this country. But his opposition to them is lip service and his actions are designed to profit from their actions.

If that doesn't scream MORE OF THE SAME, what will!

So you are saying Ron shouldn't run because Trump is?

Nothing in his actual record that I’m aware of indicates this.

But, I’m not gonna try and let something silly like his record mess up a good thread.

They have been saying this since before he decided to get in the running.

It's reelect trump or bust.

I'm saying he would never have run except for the prosecutions. He's way to smart for that.

yeah this is the ticket.

I am getting convinced to not vote Trump at all. Keep up the good work. He appreciates it.

Well this is predictable also. Another reason he should not have run. How much did DeSantis figure on affecting the race negatively in case he did not win? Maybe he didn't consider it at all in those big donor "Get Trump" meetings.

And the way people speak about Trump on this board now. It's as bad as Slate and the other left wing rags.

Criticism of policy is one thing, but the deeply personal democratesque language the too the bitter end zesantis fanatics use is beyond the pale.

Another reason he should not have run.
