Spin off of the Fenton speedtrap thread.

93% of its revenue from tickets, at least reported revenue. This is the infamous bottom of the overpass cop.

LOL. Unreal. Reminds me of Baskin and Archibald.

Georgetown, if my memory serves correctly, is the place where you are gassing it up a bit to get over the overpass and your car gains a bit of speed over the top.

Ossifer Friendly is waiting for you as you descend.

I had the Waze app on so I was careful.

I got a ticket in this town before. Pulled over for speeding, but the officer gave me a seatbelt ticket. Something like a $30 fine. Speed on the highway is 55 and drops to 30 once you reach the town. Learned that day that Georgetown isn’t just a university in DC.

Think it’s 45mph, they also had to move the city limits sign back a couple miles years ago.
Busted a leboneese patrol ocifer this summer for meth possession.
Don’t use cc and most will never have to pay the city use tax in these shite holes.

Yeah, it's 50 now, but used to be 35, I believe.

The second police chief arrested from a small town in Louisiana this week where the majority of the towns revenue is made up of traffic citations. Kinda makes you think…
