It means, I drive Uber on the side, like an hour or two a day, a few days a week. It is not my primary source of income.

So was it a typo that you said you are a ‘part time rideshare rider’ as opposed to ‘driver’ b/c to me riding and driving are different things.. not casting aspersions btw, work is work .

Ooops, didn't even notice that typo, yes that's why it was confusing to you haha.

Yeah, that's what I tell my family when they ask. I'm like, money is money, whether it comes from my "main" job, Uber, or my other side hustle.

There a guy that works in the Dillard’s men’s dept @ Mall of Louisiana that sells men’s suits and is a Taylor.

His family Taylored suits, ran a men’s s clothier store, and he can actually take apart a shirt, make corrections, and put it back together.

I like dealing with him as he can Taylor my pants, shirts, and jacket’s pretty quickly.

There is no amount of money that could persuade me to work in retail. Retail workers get it in stereo: from the customers in one ear and their corporate bosses in the other.

You left this out:

Miserable hours (nights and weekends)
More miserable hours (holidays)
Whole shift on your feet (no desk)
Low wages
Usually no benefits

I remember when I was 20 y.o., I used to work at a large department store and the last 2 weeks before X-mas, they made us work from 5 am to 2 pm. It was brutal. The only advantage was you were indulged in the Xmas spirit.

Is it safe to say that he is swift at his job?

I just could not believe how rude people were towards the employees who work there.

That's pretty much any customer service job. shite is out of control, now that everyone is brainwashed by politics and victim mentalities.

as someone who worked full time at Walmart while in college, it made me appreciate getting a degree so I never had to work retail again.

my job requires me to work face to face with Banks, but they are generally fine to work with

Last customer service job I had was working the Covington Blockbuster during college - it was at that point that I realize I was going to either go to jail for assault and battery on a customer or have to find another job until I got out of school, which I did working at a bowling alley chasing pins and learning to fix the pinsetters. If all job paid the same I'd go back to that in a heartbeat, best job ever - no customers, just machines that were generally easy to repair on the fly.
