friendly reminder that today is runoff day in Louisiana
there are 3 statewide runoffs (Sec. of State, AG, Treasurer) and 4 constitutional amendments on everyone's ballot around the state
and I know you Lafayette Parish baws have a real tough decision to make when it comes to Mayor-President today
what else is on your ballot today?
get out and vote

In Bossier we only had 4 races, each with one R running against one D. So I voted straight R.
Also a few amendments.
What was interesting was that I voted one hour after the poll opened. I was the only person there and checked the sign in book as the 4th voter.
That's 4 voters appearing in 1 hour with 7 people working the station. Had to be the most boring job ever.

Voting on path for another dismal voter turnout
Went and voted at 11:30am (fairly large precinct) and vote worker stated we made the 28th voter so far this morning.

I went at 9:30 this morning... not sure of the size of the 2 precincts which use this elementary school gym but I was the only person who was there outside of the poll workers
I noted a couple "voted absentee" markers on the signing sheet... but other than that... not too many signatures on the page I was on

Those propositions. Ugh.
And sheriff race in my parish. Will be interesting.

We went at 8:30am. We were actually really late... but still #4 & 5 for our district. Guess turnout will be really low.

We had a millage renewal for firefighters on ours as well.
The Bards went around 11am, we were the only voters there.

If turnout hits 10%, I'll be amazed.
I went at about 3 and they hadn't hit triple digits yet on the signatures.

I just went and voted and was number 50. Scary low turnout.
