No one is making you read a recruiting board.

He's the #1 QB and in some rankings #1 player in his class, yeah kind of exciting even if far away.

Bet has multiple meanings depending on context. It can mean "I agree", "good news", "okay", "alright", "for sure”

Am I the only one who thinks this is specifically geared towards the fact that michigan just took a QB commit yesterday???

Seems to me he's not only laughing at/making fun of the stupid "bet." tweets all the michigan players had--he's saying that in response to the fact that they took another Quarterback.

This is more than just nothing to worry about - this is actively great. And I say this as someone who takes a generally pessimistic and skeptical view towards recruiting news.

Hopefully he is just betting that he will win a natty at LSU before any qb wins one at UM.

Why is everyone so pumped for this kid? We have Colin Hurley, do we not want him anymore?

Isnt Hurley going to be 16 years old when he gets to campus?

Hurley is gonna be a beast bro...plus he was coming here before all this NIL nonsense. Kid wants to be at LSU.

and those are the kind of kids we need at this program

Uh oh. The RB is starting to get excited about an elite out of state recruit. This could only have a positive outcome

Shortly after the Big Ten announcement, several current Michigan players, including quarterback J.J. McCarthy, right guard Zak Zinter and defensive tackle Kris Jenkins posted on Twitter/X this simple message: “Bet,” which is a slang saying that roughly means, “Cool, let's go.”

Bryce's reply "BET" could have several street meanings such as "take care", "Ok, Cool", "Understood", "I got you", and more along those lines.

But, the fact that the post comes after UM recently offering and accepting a commit from another QB tells me that Bryce is saying "Ok, Cool" , "I got you". Not good for them.

You must not have been paying attention the last few years. I don't know if it's NIL or what, but the dominos start falling early for QBs and once they do, they go fast.

I mean, frankly, I wouldn’t be mad if we processed Hurley right now. He looks like a massive project and considering that he’s going to be 16 years old once he gets on campus, that’s a little worrisome.

You don’t do that to a kid who’s been committed for over a year and has been one of your biggest recruiters in the class. That’s bad business. If he doesn’t work out, he can transfer out and we can look to the portal. He deserves a chance though.

We did it to Galloway and Jojo Stone in this class already so the precedent has been set. It's not gonna happen with Hurley and i agree with your sentiment but it's not a unprecedented occurrence.
