with the Rainwoman Cardiologist and the Izzy and the dead guy story line.
I really liked this show but now it is a mishmash of bullshite storylines, people hooking up and outlandish medical cases/situations

My wife watches this religiously and she admits it has jumped the shark. How about the interns operating on each other.

Yeah. It has been terrible this season.
In addition to what you've mentioned...
The Asian chick getting impaled with an icicle
Said icicle not melting at all afterward

Their best chance to get the show in the right direction was by killing off Grey when they had the chance. At least she's not as terrible as she used to be, but that's only in comparison to these other story lines. The wife is getting more outraged each episode, so my fingers are crossed that it'll be off the list.

The first episode was about a dude that had a live grenade launcher round in him ....and apparently keeping your hand on it kept it from splodin'

I've never watched it, but my gf was watching it last night and I was talking to her for a couple minutes, and she was like "see that guy? He's dead.."

WTF is this about? My girlfriend has had me watching this for the 1st time this season. Do they even know where they are going with this? Is he really there or is she bat-shite-crazy? If they liked his character so much, perhaps they shouldn't have killed him off.
And what happened with the interns operating on each other? Our DVR fricked up right as the appendectomy went bad, and we missed the rest of the episode. Then I turn it on this week, and British chick is running around no problem.

Even when I watched the show in Season 1, I used to assume that the writers were pissed that they centered the entire show around the worst character.

What I found really funny... at the end when Alex and Izzy come home she has to decide who she is sleeping with tonight... she tells Denny (the ghost) she can't and she goes with Alex... Denny tells her that he will wait.... wtf!!! like he has something else better to do....

I've watched one episode of Season 1 and it blew.
The main character is the most annoying bitch ever. I have no clue how anyone is supposed to sympathize with her.
The medical cases were retarded and over the top. there was not one good thing about that show.

I watched that show one time and the chick was dead on the table for like and hour and they brought her back to life, no brain damage or anything. That was enough for me.

See, I don't know if the show has officially jumped a shark, since it was a ridiculous show from episode 1.
I watched that first episode with the grenade in the gut, saw what type of series this was, and never came back for a second episode.

This show has always been like this, my girlfriend watches and I have caught a few of the storylines.
Train Crash
Ferry Explosion
Bomb device inside of man.
Heard something about an ice storm. (Wouldn't the icicle melt with body heat?)
Dead guy giving advice.
Some guy like ate a baby doll head I think?
This hospital seems to get alot of rare freak injuries coming through on a weekly basis.
