The Bulls are exploring moving him and BI is not going to work here. He fits our team much better than BI.

Massive contract and doubt he wants to come here. I agree does fit better.

How so?

He's certainly a better scorer, but one of the main issues I hear about BI is he's a ball stopper and the offense flows a lot better when he's out, but Lavine is even more of a ball stopper and not at all a facilitator even compared to BI.

He shoots threes and dunks. Not really a midrange guy. His ballstopping may be more of a byproduct of the dumb bulls offense more than anything. But he is much more efficient scorer. Hes not a facilitator but that might fit better with Zion facilitating.

Not a huge fan of BI...but I just refuse to believe we can't do a bit better than freekin' Lavine...for BI.

Lavine is worse at defense and rebounding

I mean, he is probably better than BI.

Not interested in Lavine, but if Bulls are blowing it up I’ll take Vuc and Caruso for Jonas, Larry and Kira

I imagine Caruso has a good bit of value, and they can likely get at least a 1st for him and probably more.

Lavine is a better player and fit than Ingram. But the Pelicans 4 best young players are Trey, Herb, Dyson, and Hawkins. I have a hard time seeing value in tying up another 40 million a year in the only position we're solid and deep.

Oh I know a pick or multiple picks would have to be involved, just not sure how many it would take.

Well Lavine would fit in great in New Orleans because he's had on and off knee problems over the past few years

And yet he still plays more than our boys.

There's a difference between ball stopper b/c he shot a 3, which he does at 38%, or gets to the goal and finishes at near 70%FG and shoots 6FTs a game, and.....
stopping the ball by slowly backing your guy down in a 1 on 1 situation where you're going to take a fadeaway mid range shot that you are going to finish at 43%.

And i do'nt care what anyone says, Lavine is a much better defender than BI. At least I know that i've seen Lavine actually try on defense in the olympics, and actually look really good at it. Maybe he doens't give that effort for 30mpg 82 games a year, but i know he'll give it in the playoffs.

I really like the Karl Anthony Towns for Brandon Ingram and Kira Lewis.

Could be the small ball 5 for point Zion.
