I don’t like beating a dead horse but you have too with this team. This is from si.com
“New Orleans stars need to be more consistent on the offensive end. Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson rank in the top 11 in the league in isolation attempts. Of those eleven players, they are No. 1 and No. 2 in turnover frequency.”
On offense it’s just iso ball and bad shots, then add in not giving a shite on defense and you understand why we’re so bad.

Ingram has no excuse. At least Zion's turnovers are because his game is going ISO 1 on 5 to the basket.

Zion also has 11 in the two games since he sliced his hand open, which will skew his numbers.
He wasn’t turning the ball over much before that.

I will say after rewatching that interview from last night and remembering that Zion got pulled with like 8 minutes left in the game…
Something was up with him for sure. That man sounded like he couldn’t breathe and he had done no physical activity for at least 20 minutes.
He seemed sick as frick

For sure, aside from the pivot play, this is the issue the Pels have to correct using BI and Zion as your primary ball-handlers. BI's pace and occasional loose handle along with Zion's slipping and lazy kick outs from not being in the required condition for the position have hampered the team to date.

Zion and Brandon Ingram have played 147 minutes together this season. The Pelicans' offensive rating is 103.2 when they share the floor.
The Trail Blazers' offensive rating is 105.2. They are the 30th-ranked offense in the NBA.

To me it seemed like he just finished a workout or did some conditioning work . None of which are uncommon after a game and both are things he needs . Hence the sweat, towel , and breathing .

I mean I’ve seen plenty of Zion postgame interviews even after he literally just finished playing NBA basketball 30 seconds before and I would never say he seemed quite that out of breath or raggedy
