Ingram has literally been our worst player this season, Zion also has not been good

The Ingram Experience in one play
Being a -13.9 with your “leader” on the floor and being a net neutral when he’s on the bench is absolutely atrocious.
I would love to see what the numbers are when they’re on the floor together and when one of them sits while the other is on the floor.

The Pelicans are -9.4 with Zion on, -2.6 when he's off. That's bad. They should not be worse with him, even if they still lose without him.
They are -13.9 with Ingram on-court, the worst of any rotation player, and net neutral, 0.0, with him on the bench.

I have been out on BI for awhile, but this season just confirms it.
I need him to play better though, so we can get better value at the trade deadline.
Unfortunately, Griffin does not have the balls to trade him.

Again this regime needs to stop overvaluing Ingrams talent. This team’s obsession with BI being this teams leader and most talented player is laughable. Zion has his problems but I also believe a lot of that is from the team misusing him. We have seen this team with Zion, and without BI thrive.

-7.3 with both on
We’re +10.56 with Zion and Ingram both out
-14 with Zion on and Ingram off
-23 with Ingram on and Zion off

I think Zion will be fine by December if he stays healthy. We've seen how his fitness impacts his defensive motor and offensive efficiency.
Ingram on the other hand needs to change the way he plays. He was launching 3s unabashedly, which is good. So I don't think he's trying to not fit, it's just not his natural inclination.
Nothing is going to happen trade wise until near the deadline anyway, so hopefully they figure it out before then or it will be a long winter for Pels fans.

This is a guy who said he didn’t like the championship or bust culture of Lebron. Like who the frick says that. Hes so obsessed with building some bullshite family experience. Thats I think what Zion was complaining about. Who cares if this team is like a family if they can’t win.

It's not just ingram. We suck when our stars play.
It is incredibly frustrating to watch.
We've given them a good supporting cast and they are fumbling it. Give any other 2 stars in this league the supporting cast that Zion and BI have had and i guarantee you they would have a better record than these bums

somehow, the Pelicans managed to keep their two stars healthy, like we have always asked them to, and somehow they both became replacement-level players at the same time.

We've got two head chefs in the kitchen. That's the biggest problem. Zion is being too much of a pussy/and fat and needs to take this shite over.

He definitely needs to go but follow that twitter page some more and they show some plays from Zion too. They’re both playing like absolute shite and just don’t give a flyin frick on defense.
Zion and BI just not caring

Looking further into the numbers, we’re immensely better defensively with Zion than Ingram.
With Zion on Ingram off
Opp 2 pt %: 58.93
Opp 3 pt%: 29.35
Def Rtg: 118.47 (would be 26th in league)
With Ingram on Zion off (this is alarming)
Opp 2 pt%: 67.86%
Opp 3 pt%: 41.25%
Def Rtg: 129.83 (would be worst in league by 9 points)

Lets be honest the pairing of Zion and BI just doesn’t work. We see it all the time in the NBA. 2 stars who just dont click and the team doesn’t get better until one is traded. We’re headed down that road, question is will Griff trade the more or less talented player????

I think its pretty clear that Griffin likes BI better. We will see if that means anything.

They don't work together or individually.
Is trading ingram going to make zion give a frick on defense?
I would trade them both

I would have to see specifics on these defenses because I can assure you zions defense is not contributing to such a decrease in 3pt percentage lol

Oh there’s no doubt Zion has absolutely just shite the bed at times this season, but when he turns it on he’s been very very good (Denver)
I really have a feeling he’s not happy with the role they’re forcing him to play and he’s just moping around. We HAVE to make him more involved and stress to everyone on the team that this team will run through Zion, it’s absolutely the only way we will be able to get him fully bought in and show what he showed last season in December.

I think him having the ball more and offense focused on him will in turn make him care more. Again we saw this in December last year. Stars care more when they featured more. They stop caring when they’re not. Not saying Zion needs to man up but I can promise you his defense will change if thus team becimes more Zion centered.

Yeah for sure, but also man just grab a god damn defensive rebound and run the floor. He refuses to do so
