Yea Cleveland isn’t at all like Starkville.
Starkville has almost 3x the population and is way nicer with more shops and restaurants. Better public schools and all too.
Cleveland is the best town in the Delta but that’s like winning the special Olympics

Not when he took over a senior laden team returning 20 starters off a 9-4 top 25 team and missing a bowl game with them.
It’s not like we fired Leach and went out and hired Arnett. Leach died, we promoted from within hoping to maintain continuity. We didn’t get it. So time to search for a real coach to build the program that isn’t over his head

Well only one team in the CFP era has been ranked high enough to make a 12 team playoff at the end of the season.
And it’s not Kansas
Only one of those teams has played in their conference championship game.
