Developer for Computer Program Idea?

I'd like to hire someone to develop a computer program that I think would streamline some mundane day-to-day tasks in my job. Any suggestions?
Basically the program idea is to create a databank of contacts/information, have the bank searchable/clickable, and then the program integrates the selected data into an existing PDF form, as well as pump out some other form documents based on the information selected. There are a few more intricacies involved than that, but nothing too extravagant.

This would probably be fairly easy to accomplish yourself if you spend a couple weekends researching. No better way to have something done right than to get it done yourself

I developed a similar program for an attorney friend many years ago.
You can do this fairly easily using a Microsoft Office tools plugin. It will allow you to create some template documents with placeholders for keywords in your database.
For example, you create your document as "Dear ##First_Name## ##Last_Name##" (or similar) and the tools substitute in the correct data.
Think it through fully, like Fat Batman said - clients always underestimate the amount of time/effort it takes to "fully" develop an application. Scope Creep is your budget's worst enemy...

Free
1. Create a Google Form with the information you would like to capture and report on Customer Info LINK
2. This will create a backend excel document of your form data (which you can search within)
3. Create a Google Looker report with your excel customer data LINK
Out the Box Software
