Saturdays Down South

I’m not sure what else Daniels could’ve done. And I don’t think Kelly should’ve said that in public.

I don’t think any coach that lost a game said the QB played great. Just doesn’t sound quite right.

He was off on some passes but wrs dropped some passes too. I feel like the offense felt the pressure of being perfect because the defense was not going to be able to stop Bama.

Who cares? Some of you guys are so sensitive. I don’t think Daniels will be hurt by this.

I think JD5 would agree and I'm sure he can handle what coach said-he's no candy arse.

What a dumbass thing to be worried about.

He also had 9 guys on the field for the 4th down play to literally end the game. Jalen Milroe accounted for 5 scrambles on third down that gave them first downs.

There's so much football to be worried about. Why are you whining over semantics?

If 400 yards of offense, 28 points in 3 quarters on the road at bama isn't great from a Qb then BK can leave now.
He talks about the tipped pass being the difference in the game. BS. Your pathetic defense is the reason we lost.

The offense needed to be elite to beat bama. They were just great. Great doesn’t win that game.

The offense is 11 guys. Daniels was elite.

Text from my BIL before the game: "So, how many points per possession do you think we will need? I'm betting on 7."

Text after the missed FG: "Well, now we have to get 7 two-point conversions."

I agree with him. There were a lot of times he held onto the ball too long and looked too much like last year’s Jayden

Almost as if he was playing the best defense he'll see all year ?

I don’t know what the frick is happening. I watched Jayden Daniels light those frickers up. I saw a wr drop a first down pass on the sideline. I saw a te wide open drop a pass that basically ended a drive. I saw Daniels get knocked out of the game early on the fourth well on his way to 500 yards of offense and they already had 28 points.

Coach and people on here: he was ok

He ran for what was probably a record for a QB against Bama's D with 163 yards averaging 14.8 ypc. That is astonishing to average that on over 10 carries against any D, but against a Bama D, that's insane. Then he passed for another 200+. The only drives that stalled were the dumb 4th and 1 quick pass call (which was totally covered), the dropped pass from Taylor on 3rd and long, and the tipped pass that was picked.

It was a dumb comment by BK after Daniels kept us in it and was knocked out on a dirty hit, yet he didn't want to comment on the LB play when he was asked and gave some BS about the guys playing their tails off. The focus should have been on the atrocious D and his failure as a coach on that side of the ball.

BK, along with the rest of us, have been leaning on JD5 too much all season. He wasn’t perfect but damn that was an outstanding performance on Saturday for 3 qtrs no matter what the hell Brian Kelly says.

Some of this fan base are such utter bitches. Y’all hate Kelly so much (for what, I have no clue) that y’all hang on his every word to try and get some kind of gotcha over him.

JD wasn't great against Alabama. HE did enough to win though.

Brian Kelly is an A hole Jayden Daniels is the only reason he hasn’t been a .500 coach since getting to LSU

With how the defense was playing the offense had to be perfect. Daniels did miss a few receivers open and some drops did happen from the Receivers. But again the offense had to be perfect because how poor the defense was/has been playing.

Kelly went on to say that we wouldn't be in the game without Daniels' performance but he did leave some plays on the field part of that was due to how poor Charles Turner played. His snaps were off the entire game. Was probably the worst performance of his career and it threw off the timing on a number of plays. I don't mind Kelly being honest with his assessment of Daniels. Without Daniels progression this year this team easily has losses to Mizzou and Arkansas and would be 4-5 right now.
