Headed down to the Keys in a few weeks. Staying in Marathon. What are the best restaurants Islamorada down to Key West?

Thanks.

You gotta go to Robbies Marina and feed the tarpon.

I choose my restaurants down there for the atmosphere and the view, tbh. There are a lot of waterfront establishments with live music that serve a cold beer, and a decent fish sandwich - spectacular water views included.

I was in Key West this past April. We had a great time and had some very good meals.

Latitudes is a nice, upscale restaurant that you get to by boat. Beautiful place with delicious food. Need reservations well in advance. We had our anniversary dinner there at an outdoor table next to the water.

Louie's Backyard was Jimmy Buffet's favorite restaurant when he used to live next door on Waddell Avenue. It was our favorite too.

Blue Heaven is a fun and lively place. Very popular.

Seaside Cafe at the Southernmost Point was good.

Santiago's Bodega is a Spanish tapas bar with delicious food. This was the only dinner we ate indoors. For rest of them we sat outside, either on the patio or by the water.

All good suggestions. I would add Ziggy and Mad Dogs in Islamorada.

Coast to Coast Pizza in Marthon has the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had.

Islamorada- Square Grouper, Lorelei, Morada Bay, Green Turtle Inn, Hungry Tarpon, Wahoo's. Chef Michael's for fancier dinner.

I don’t know about eating but feeding tarpon at Robbie’s is fun, just watch for pelicans.
Mangrove Mikes
Lorelei’s
Both in Islamorada

Harpoon Harry’s in KW is great for breakfast and blue plate special lunches.

I'm following this thread for food recommendations as well. On a side question, are you flying into the keys or into Miami and driving?

A lot of the spots I was gonna say have been mentioned, but a lesser known spot in Summerland Key is Mangrove Mama's. Off in the weeds, but it is a cool shack. Great food
