This team is “Soft”
There- I said it and if you have been watching LSU football for as long as I have (since 1988) then you know EXACTLY the “softie” kind of feeling that I am talking about.
Ohhhhh….. YES . They DO have actual “good players” in most positions.

WHY do we have THIS “softie” feeling now after all these years.

LSU would always spit out blood in the dirt and play “punching above thier weight class.”
Now it’s like LSU football goes limp at the sight of blood!

What happened and what do we do?

Don’t confuse soft with kids who are just bad at football. Now bad kids could be soft but I think we are just more not talent and put in bad positions and comes off as soft.

Where were the “payback hits” for what they did to JD?? Huh?
I didn’t see any tide getting smacked in the mouth in exchange for the targeting to injure JD.

Nah, they are soft. The media and everyone has been shitting on them for weeks and they played with no fire. Their QB gets knocked out and they just lay down. Soft.

Some dude from Ole Miss got punched in the dick with no payback. It’s the generation. They all can’t wait to go hug each other on the field as soon as the game ends.

Do you think so? I mean, we would have to be a little “historically bad” in the context of the tigers starting around the Lea Miles era

Poor talent doesn’t mean soft

Just because Greg Penn runs a 5.0 doesn’t mean he is soft

Just because major burns and Andre Sam would be 3rd string on other lsu teams does not mean they are soft

Just because Sage Ryan is forced to play boundary corner doesn’t make him soft

Just because Maason smith is a large man trying to come back from a devastating injury doesn’t mean he is soft

What BS….. they are playing for the NFL and not for the LSU fans. They sont wanna win they just want to get drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars and get some cars and hoes.

Bro. Our offensive lineman literally told the Florida State D-lineman that they were good in the middle of the game…

This team is incredibly soft. We used to have guys like Laron Landry and Chad Jones. Now we watch our QB get targeted and tell other players they are good during the game.

While the offense is more finesse than power, there are some powerful runs in there, solid protection (at times), plus JD has some of that killer instinct and tiger blood on many of his big plays (runs and passes). ETA: The lethality of the whole offensive system cannot rightly be called "soft" in a football context - that's what I'm saying.

However, I will agree with you (and I've brought this from last season, in fact), this defense is so soft, their NIL deal should be with Charmin.

Baby shite soft. ETA: The worst LSU defense in my lifetime and probably in history.

Soft as baby shite.

Waiting for JD to finish a big game.

And don't give me any shite. Burrow got up and played.

“Men” on this board who would literally die if they got hit by an SEC linebacker at playing speed calling anyone on that field “soft”

Dogs are made from recruiting classes. Not the transfer portal. Defense needs to be built through recruiting classes.
