Helmet to Helmet hit while
launching himself against a defenseless QB who has just thrown the ball. Then drives the QB into the turf. This is not targeting????

yes, but he didn't lower his head to initiate contact with the crown. He actually kept his head up.

he didn't launch. Certainly he leaned forward to make the hit, but didn't "launch."

agreed, and this was the biggest issue with the hit.

Regardless, it was a dirty hit, but mainly because of driving Daniels to the ground.

For argument sake let’s say they did call targeting, which I don’t believe it was.
What changes in the game? We got the 15 yard penalty, there aren’t more penalty yards for targeting than roughing.
Your QB, unfortunately, was knocked out the game anyway.
Turner is ejected for last 10 minutes of game and 1/2 Kentucky game.
Are you so worried about Turner playing Kentucky?

even if they call it LSU gets 15 and a DQ'd bama player. QB is still out.Bama still has lead.
