Credit card with miles

Looking for some info on these. I have a card we use for my business and we would just get the cash back. But we recently just signed up for a vacation club that will take us to resorts in Cancun, and in the near future, the Caribbean and possibly the Dom. Republic. So we now feel that miles rewards would better in the long run.
For a little info, we will typically put $100k-$120k per year in expenses on this card. But sadly, with my job, there will be very little travel/flights used as a “business expense”.
Spirit airlines is the only flight that I can find that goes one way to Cancun so having the miles go toward that would be a plus but by no means a necessity.
Any experiences with some cards better than others, easier customer service, ability to transfer miles out of “network”, etc.
What say the money makers…

Miles are constantly being devalued - IMO the best bet is one of the premium cards that do 2x points that can be used for booking vacations or transferred into miles. The Capital One Venture X is a great one for that, and comes with plenty of travel perks

Southwest has nonstop to and from Cancun out of MSY.

I have a United master card that I got in college many moons ago. Totally forgot about the “points” aspect of the card until a travel agent this summer asked if I had any cards with points. Turns out I have over 6 million miles. Don’t think I will ever use all of those but traveling first class to Spain last summer for free was pretty sweet.
