Anyone can wish for anything. It’s just a stupid thing to say “they wish this happens”

When was the last time or year Iowa even scored 50 points or more? Lol

The best part was when Iowa got the ball back super late in a game (week 1?) and already had the game won and could’ve kicked a meaningless FG (and help his son get the numbers he needed) or just kneel it and Ferents just knelt it
no the best part was them scoring TDs on 4th down with 30 seconds to go against Western Michigan up 34-10.

No highly rated QBs or WRs will even return a call to play in that shite.
Really? What do young people want to run? The Spread?
I remember being on teams that tried to run gimmicky offenses: Wing T, Double Wing... I'd throw "The Spread" in there though it didn't go by that name yet. I really despised it... especially that God-awful Wing T.
The old Split Back / I-Formation offenses were a lot more appealing to me as a player. It felt like those relied more on talent and execution vs. trickery.

You’re comparing 2A high school beta male soyboy football to D1 college football.

I don't claim to be an expert. I was just asking.
Wouldn't a split-back set still be more relevant to an eventual NFL career?
IDK, man. There's very little that appeals to me about the Spread, Air Raid, or Run-and-Shoot, as a fan or a one-time casual player.
I like the idea of having an actual snap count and an offensive line that can pass block. I think you can win games that way now, since no one else really does it and you don't see much of it.
Y'all keep wishing for Slap-Ya-Hands football in the Big Ten, though .

We’re you a WR or QB?

Yeah, that's what they said about the wishbone too.

Damn man when were you in high school?

It’s great to rely on talent and execution if you have one or both. But if you have just one you got to do what you got to do
