If anything, it shows the step up between Group of 5 and playing Power 5 football on a consistent basis. All those teams finished 8-5 or better last year in group of 5 conferences.

But but but UCF went undefeated! They should be in the playoffs! It’s not fair!

I think UCF has potential. BYU is usually competitive. Houston and Cincinnati doesn’t do much despite some recent success they’ve had.

In their defense they damn near took down OU a couple weeks ago.

Cincinnati has had a good track record of coaches (Dantonio, Kelly, Fickell) but I don't think Satterfield is all that inspiring

I'm more curious to see how UH does in basketball. Media picked them second after Kansas.

Football is a lost cause under Holgs.

Houston's bball is already built to compete in the Big 12. They will be one of the best teams in the conference.

Wrong

It took 4 years for Utah to get over .500 in the PAC 12.

4-5
3-6
2-7
5-4

This conference has zero business getting an auto bid in the new playoffs

The funny thing I think UCF might actually be a bit better than they were last year. Games that fall your way against G5 tend to stop falling your way against P5.
