Watched this movie with Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal. It was very entertaining and enjoyable.
Cage plays a fictionalized version of himself who is ready to give up acting after not being able to get a major acting role that he thinks will revive his career. He’s got issues connecting with his daughter. He gets kicked out of the hotel he’s living in for not paying the bill and needing money, decides to take a $1 million gig going to a fans birthday party.
Turns out, the fan is also suspected by the CIA for being involving in a kidnapping….and they get Cage involved.
Pascal’s character is a huge fan of Cage who has written a screen play and wants Cage to star in it. The two actors really go back and forth stealing scenes, making for some hilarious moments.
My only semi complaint is that Cage’s agent in the movie was played by an underused NPH.

It’s like having Mo Rivera on the bench and never bringing him in to pitch the ninth.

Saw a highlight of this film ... I think the two were cruising down the pacific coast highway in a convertible exchaging some dialog. Was wondering if it might be any good. Thanks for sharing OP.

Loved the joke about Paddington. I'd never seen it, so watched that too, which was very enjoyable.

Watched this last night. I echo the sentiments of most here. Just plain enjoyable. Need more movies like this.
