Better reasons to pull for Florida imo:
1. I think with a Florida win, Tebow and Harvin are more likely to go pro.

2. Don't want Saban to build on this anymore than he has already.

But I will admit, the flip side is that with an Bama win, maybe Saban is more likely to look at his next career stop a little earlier.

better reason to want bama to win...

as soon as he wins a championship at bama, Saban will start to get the itch. better now than later.

he's goal oriented. keeping a team at the championship level bores him.

he'll start looking for the next challenge.

What frickup? Putting the team that beat Texas Tech by 40 or whatever ahead of the one who lost to them? Or would it be more "fair" to you to put Texas ahead of the team that beat them instead of putting Oklahoma ahead of the team who beat them?

LSU will always be the first team with two bcs titles so I'd rather see Florida do it. And do you really want to see a new stupid Alabama shirt saying "Got 13?" when they don't really even have 12 to begin with?

It ain't gonna matter who we pull for the Gators are playing the best football in the country although they have some injuries after the Fla. St game.

I cant think of a single reason why I, an LSU fan, should want a division (and recruiting) rival to have such success. Probably better for UF to win it between those two.

Putting OK in over TX was a screwup.

Tebow will not go pro.

I just don't think the gumps are as good a team as Oklahoma, Texas or Florida.

Putting Oklahoma over Texas was not a mistake. I think if they played again, Oklahoma would win. As far as Bama and Florida go, I'm sure Florida will win by maybe as much as 21 points.

Which looks better?

LSU (saban)
USC
Texas
Florida
LSU
Alabama (saban)

or

LSU (saban)
USC
Texas
Florida
LSU
Florida

the latter makes Florida look like the most recent dominant SEC team. The former makes saban look that way (dominant).

fixed

considering he coaches in our division, not a good idea

That's a big "if" that will not, and should not, happen.
