re: PP7 and Avery

I've listened to Asher's show before. He's pretty good for a West Coaster and I know he's traveled down here to watch the Tigahs play. I think he's a converted SEC, more importantly LSU, fan. Hope he gets PP7 talking about Avery.
nothing yet, anyone else heard anything? and if so, would you mind posting your p. rank? Thanks
not yet, but with a philanthropic rank of 5500ish, I'm guessing I'll just get another email saying they can't upgrade me.

I find it hard to believe as more often than not, I'm running into folks that didn't renew this season. I'd suspect that number would have been more if the announcement about spencer being booted and ross-miller going elsewhere would have come before the renewal deadline instead of the following week.

if anyone does get a call, please consider posting your philanthropic rank so the rest of us can have some idea if we are gonna get a call. thanks
I think he meant Randall Carroll, wr from Los Angeles.

But yeah, pretty misinformed.
Better reasons to pull for Florida imo:
1. I think with a Florida win, Tebow and Harvin are more likely to go pro.

2. Don't want Saban to build on this anymore than he has already.

But I will admit, the flip side is that with an Bama win, maybe Saban is more likely to look at his next career stop a little earlier.

re: More Alem

Completely agree.

Saw him on Bourbon Street after the Championship game. Nice guy, but as the look of one bad dog, literally.

He had a dog collar around his neck, no shirt on and was dancing in the middle of the street.

He's got this look in his eyes, like 'ol Mike Singletary. Tremendous future and with a little more work, he's gonna be a name you'll hear called a lot.

And about the name, from LSUSports.net...
Full name is Rahim Akil Alem ... Legally changed his name during the spring of 2006 ... His new name is part Swahili, part Arabic and has nothing to do with a religious conversion, but his African heritage ... Rahim means kind, compassionate and merciful; Akil means intelligent; and Alem means leader ... Given name was Alfred Marvin Jones, Jr.

Not that it matters, but I've got no problem with the name. However, I prefer to call him a bad, mutha f@#&er.

and i saw a bunch of "caucasians" at the Tigerdroppings tailgate last year.

re: Season ticket question..

Never spoke directly to TAF, but with what I've gathered from others posting their ranks and priority point status, the 98% season ticket renewal rate that doesn't look like it's gonna lower that much, and the TAF donation increments, I did some rough math.....

Starting from scratch at this point, get ready to donate 15 to 20k to get the opportunity to purchase season tickets in the nose bleeds.

Best bet is to call TAF and see what it will take to get you in there when you are ready to drop the change if you need the tickets in your name.

re: wow sucks for Pelini

The decision should be what gives LSU it's best chance to win whatever bowl game but I really don't think Pelini should be allowed to coach it if he's indeed the coach elsewhere.
Believe it or not, but evidently there is some truth to this one.

Damn, I hate visors.
I hate posting rumors, but felt like I was being left out.

Actually, I just heard this one all the way up here in Chicago.

Run with it.

(spoke with person working in the bldg. who personally laid eyes on him. maybe he's a liar, maybe he's not.)
