You wouldn’t hop Georgia if there are 3 others that deserve it.

Sure, if everyone has a loss you will sneak in, but for our best odds you need to hand Georgia a second loss and be the only SEC team in.

Georgia's schedule has been bad....to this point. But their finish (Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee) ranks among the 10 toughest remaining schedules.

No we don’t. If we beat an undefeated we won’t be in. If we give them their second loss we will hop them

This is stupid. frick Florida. If Mizzou wants to beat UGA then go right ahead. But never in my life will I want to rely UF and sun belt Billy to beat someone.

And if I haven’t been clear enough: frick Florida.

You are definitely over thinking it bro. a 12-1 Georgia who didn't with the SEC has no shot at the playoffs
This may shock you, but a 12-1 Georgia who didn't win the SEC Championship made the playoffs 2 years ago.

Nail meets hammer. Totally agree with this. Georgia will pay for that easy schedule so they can only go in undefeated imho.

they were scheduled to play Oklahoma who is top 10 but SEC made them cancel. bizarre because they didn't make Bama-Texas cancel

hink about what you said…

Georgia winning out would mean they beat LSU if we make Atlanta.

When people say win out, they usually mean the regular season. Context here makes that clear I would think.

The season would be more fun for the fans that face reality and just think about trying to beat bama, UF and A&M and then maybe after we beat UGA worrying about a chance at making the playoffs

Better chance of them taking 2 loss LSU SEC Champ and leaving Georgia out than you do of them taking 2 again

While I agree with your second statement - about taking a 2-loss LSU SEC champ and NOT putting in two SEC teams again, I wouldn't be so sure about your first statement.

The butthurt of the non-SEC football world over SEC dominance in the championship games is for real. There's a real chance that this might be the year the committee finally throws some meat to the unwashed masses and keeps the SEC out of the playoffs.

That's why I believe we need Georgia to win out; again, assuming we also win out and get to the SECCG, beating undefeated #1 Georgia is likely the only way our two early losses will get overlooked.

Currently, using the ESPN CFP Playoff predictor if LSU wins out they have 54% chance of making the CFP. I think the key here will be chaos in the PAC-12 and maybe even the Big-12

Georgia needs to lose to Florida then beat Ole Miss. Very likely a one loss Georgia gets in over us even if we beat them and the SEC will not get two teams this year

People thinking its a for sure thing we jump them if they are 12-0 are crazy

UGA with 1 lost would get in over a 2 lost LSU

Then why the hell are we playing Florida State out of conference instead of bowling green if that loss is the deciding factor?

You absolutely 100% would.

The only way there are 3 other teams that "deserve" it is if they are undefeated P5 conference champs and in that case Ga. is out.

If Ga. isn't undefeated when you beat them, you will be left out over 1-loss P5 conference champs. Ga. being undefeated is the ONLY way LSU makes it without another 2-loss conf. champ.
