he was speeding... must have extremely lose morals to break the speed limit!

I mean, I get it, but an arrest for 70 in a 35 is kinda weak.

Everyone on this damn board has been speeding in their car at some point. Speeding does not equal poor morals or character. It’s a lapse in judgment, which we all have at times.

And saying “I play for the Saints”, people act like they wouldn’t use that to either get out of a ticket, jail, or anything mischievous in a moment like that

It’s so dumb. Kenner Cop was probably just jealous of his Charger. Arresting someone for speeding is the dumbest fricking thing. Unless he was going 80 in an active school zone, I don’t give a frick.

He's a trophy to Kenna police. You just know they were all smiles today.

I agree with this. You all know my politics, but you can tell that cop was relishing it. Didn’t even miss a beat on the “and?”.

Another reason why Saints and Pelicans players should live in WHD or CBD and not the suburbs.

If he's not traded, the second he's a FA he's absolutely gone.

All time draft comp for a WR and he is not only overrated, but now he is cockily endangering the community. I’d cut him to be honest.

My god. What a stupid fricking take

Yeah with douche bag carr blaming this guy for everything and screaming at him, DA throwing him under the bus, and Kenner police posting this for attention olave is definitely getting the frick out of here the first chance he gets. He has to absolutely hate this team and place.

FOX 8 just said Olave was also pulled over by Kenner PD back in August for going 54mph in a 35 limit. He was only given a ticket that time.
They also reported, besides going 35 mph over the limit this time he was weaving around cars.

I mean, in all honesty, yes, he was in the wrong. I have a feeling that simply going 70 in a 35 zone was NOT the only thing he was doing to be charged with reckless driving.

Carless Op in Louisiana is a fine or jail time no longer than 30 days.

Unfortunately we all say that we've sped, etc....yep, lapse in judgement or just 'I'm late and have somewhere to go', but honestly, if you were in the car with your kids and he hit you going 70 in a 35, would we really be sitting here going tit for tat whether he was wrong or not?

Or say he gets a 'warning' and gets off the hook for 'playing for the Saints'.....then the next day you do the same and get arrested, fined and have to do community service to get it expunged off of your record. Would everyone saying that it's a bit much change their tune then?

I’ll ask this question since nobody else has asked it,

If it were Drew Brees would Brees be arrested?
