Always wondered why this band hadn't been posted here yet. Been following for a while, good stuff.

They were great. But after they moved to Nashville, they started sounding poppy instead of an old school. Last time I went to one of their shows, there were way more hot women then usual, but it sucked so bad we left. Which is about on par with the modern country scene. But I get it. Good music doesn't pay the bills anymore.

Another band I'm hearing for the first time here.
Really like their sound.
Really like their sound.

Which one of their songs that I posted sound poppy?

This board is loaded with beer snobs and music snobs.

I'm at work, so i didn't listen. But i live in Mobile and have seen them several times. I just really don't like modern country and their signed has gotten much more modern since moving away.
But I'm a musician, so I get it. Get paid while you can. If you get lucky, you can do a Ricky Skaggs, and make a ton of money then play whatever you want.

I'm definitely a music snob. I've lived some of the most famous music cities in America. But I'm not judgemental. Music is subjective. But there's a reason why a lot of stuff I love is still common 40-80 years later.
And while i might buy a $14 6 pack occasionally, I usually get a case of natty to go with it.

so you were watching a rock and roll band play surrounded by hot women? and that was a bad time for you?

Well right now I’m just thinking you’re one of those guys where if the song has more than just vocals and an acoustic guitar then it’s “over-produced” and “jam bandy”.

No. I want was many instruments as possible. Even if they don't typically fit. I'm big into jazz, blues, funk, bluegrass, Cajun, Texas swing, Gypsy jazz, all kinds of other stuff. I've been in a bit of a soul jazz kick lately, like Jimmy Smith and Eddie Harris. I love instrumentals, but not really into jam bands, but too many of my friends are.

I had brought my own, and it had turned into shitty country. I'm also old enough where if the music sucks, I don't care about the scenery.

2 guitars, bass and drums don't work for you then
