What does this even mean? What “fans” do I presumably “hang onto?”

For a man who is in his mid sixties, you sure behave like you’re in your teens. No need to make it personal.

I simply requested (I even said please) that you cease your “TTT” silliness. It’s goofy and unnecessary.

TTT - After losing both parents a week apart to Covid, you will just have to put up with my silliness at times. If it bothers you that much! You really need to reevaluate your priorities.

In high school we went to Quincy’s for our pregame meal. Had one guy on the team, a LB, who never ate his and instead brought his own baloney sandwiches. I’d get him to get his plate anyway so I could eat the steak….which was usually a 4 oz petit sirloin.

I remember when this happened and I will still say and offer my condolences to you and your family. You’re not alone in that. I too have lost loved ones.

However you needn’t get so defensive when someone simply requests something.(Since you brought up reevaluating things)

I’m as laidback as it gets but I’m not going to be a doormat either so don’t come at me with personal attacks.

Fair enough?

LSU fans tailgating, when you see Army fans and alumni, invite them over to enjoy La cuisine as well. It’s what the people of Louisiana do

They do this for every team, why would Army be any different?

They deserve the experience as much as anyone, and some of y'all are acting like it's a team of Make-a-Wish kids

Might as well let the crypt keeper John Cena run them out on the field with a giant America flag too

LSU has played a service academy exactly zero times in TS. It is a big thing & yet more than half these threads are knocking those of us who will show our respect for this Army team. Getting old? I can name 5-6 different threads going back just this year that went on & on and on. This topic has lasted....what 5 days at most? I lost several good friends in Nam, & I will never not show the proper respect for an academy team. It's sad what is considered "weird" today.

My grandfather fought in France, his sons fought in Vietnam. Most of their buddies never made it back home alive. I remember reading their letters from Vietnam to my Cajun grandmother who couldn’t read English.

Exactly. They'll eat anything that doesn't eat them first.

I hate their politics as well. Have a hard time voting for any party now. None cared enough to save thousands of lives at these rehab and retirement homes and still don’t. Guess any one old is no longer a human being with rights.

As a bonafide CoonAss from Avoyelles Parish, chicken‘n dumplings is a staple in our parts of God’s country. Maybe not Cajun or Creole, but chicken’n dumplings made in the fricassee fashion is certainly Louisiana cuisine…

“This whole "we have the classiest fans" obsession is weird.”

What’s worse is that Lsu fans are so self-righteous about it or have to “remind” the douche bag fans of Lsu to do this. The douche bag fans very likely haven’t even graduated from Lsu.
