If you still support cops, you support this type of incarceration.

This 100%. They'll be the ones throwing us in jail. 'Just following orders' because they're spineless cowards who know they'll be next if they disobey.

The 28-year-old Mr. Lang (full name: Edward Jacob Lang) has been charged with several counts, including an "obstruction" charge, for which he could receive a 20-year sentence. As reported by The Epoch Times, Mr. Lang has challenged this charge with the Supreme Court.
Should have been the focus of the article. This is his choice, and why he's been held so long without trial.
Note: my comment above is describing an issue with the reporting and stance, and in no way is in support or in attack of the prosecution itself.

Regardless of your political affiliation this should piss you off as a US citizen.
Not on this board. People have been trying to explain to the "Freedom loving" population about people stuck in pre-trial incarceration for years without a trial for quite some time. The typical response is "stop breaking the law, a-hole"

I cannot wait until the lawsuits against the government and these facilities begin.

Childish view from a child.

He's been in jail for 1,000 days but somehow they can get Trump's trial scheduled in 3 months.
If Trump's team starts an active motion practice with appeals, the trial won't be in 3 months.

I found myself thinking about these unjustly arrested J6 political prisoners a few days ago.
Perhaps we need a storming of the Bastille moment similar to what occurred for the French Revolution ?
This is cruel and unusual punishment and these Citizens are political Prisoners.
This is an unwashable shite stain on our Republic and these 'guards' needed to be jailed.

It's funny that this appears to be the first time for many Patriots to watch potentially innocent people get wrung out by our CJ system and their response compared to how they responded in the past to D'shawyun from some inner city.

The whole point of the thread is about the prosecution and to show how corrupt our government has become against conservatives.
So do you support the prosecution or not? Stop straddling the fence.

Yes, how you need to respond to J6 prosecutions is to do another J6. What could go wrong?

But it's not.
This defendant is dragging out his prosecution and postponing his court date by his own choice, which is the actual point of the article in OP.

Depends on the person and what they did/are charged with.
There were some really nasty people who did violent things for no reason on J6 who deserve to be jailed.
There was a much smaller group of people who came in after those above created chaos who were given false confidence about the propriety of their behaviors. They should not be prosecuted.

Trump contemplated a blanket pardon. He didn’t.
Frick Trump.
Frick Trump.

The pearl clutching over a bunch of housewives and seniors walking through the capital sure brought a lot of basic bitches to the government trough.
