Love my Sony Bravia’s. Have the same problems with the UI and needing hard restarts every 3-6 months.

Also, I’ve been disappointed with the sound. I’ve been on the fence to buying a sound bar. Frustrating that such an expensive tv warrants another purchase of the sound bar.

The TVs are designed to be thin and maximize the picture quality. There is hardly a TV made today that doesn't need auxiliary speakers of some kind should you care at all about sound.

But if I don’t connect wi-fi and go dumb tv route, it should be fine otherwise? Looking at one for $600 at Best Buy for a second room.
