if they can take you on as a patient... we have certain quotas that and ratios for narcotics that we cannot get around... you can risk losing your drug distributor and subsequent rebates by dispensing to many narcotics vs. regular meds... all that shite is accounted for, and when you get close to that ratio, you just have to tell people sorry, we just can't fill it... it sucks, i hate it, but it is what it is...

Not exactly true. If you are a repeat customer they will prioritize you over walk ins when they get meds in.
Pharmacies are getting them, its just limited
