Rocket Shrimp

Hadn't been there in a couple months. Went for lunch and got the RS and the Seafood Bisque. Both were MONEY.
That little place sure is a Jewel that many don't know about.

I'm guessing he's referring to Jasmine's on the Bayou. It's located on Jones Creek Road, right near the Capital One Bank.

I live right by the place, yet never tried it. I had a menu for the place and the prices seemed a bit high.

Yes, Jasmine's on the Bayou.
Prices be damned, that little place is awesome(actually the prices aren't bad).
The Rocket Shrimp is MONEY, trust me.
I love the crab and corn bisque. Today they had Seafood bisque(basically the crab and corn with some shrimp and lobster also in it) and it was awesome.

Me and the girlfriend tried Jasmine's tonight for the first time and I was really impressed. The Rocket Shrimp was amazing (I'm def. getting them on a poboy next time). The girlfriend got the Bayou Pasta, it was also good........taste great and large portions for the price. (I retract my previous statement).

Ronnie's Ribs Jamaican buffet is the best bang for the buck in Baton Rouge in my opinion. I'm not too fond of the Lebanese food there.

I guess I'm gonna have to put the Ronnie's Rib place on my list of places to go now. I live on Jones Creek and love all these little hole in the wall places
