That’s the “I really don’t want to spend time with my family” lineup.

I really enjoy watching the smaller schools. They care just as much as anyone. They are trying to win their division or their conference.

It’s refreshing instead of the same ole same ole with “which 4 teams make the playoff”. As if everyone else should just stop playing.

More football the better.

You’re probably one of those ‘every kid deserves a trophy’ parents.

USM is desperate for a win and South Alabama has been up and down this year. Could be a good game

They make up for it because their pass defense is also garbage

South Alabama and Liberty both have great coaches who will soon be P5 guys.

Liberty is undefeated and beat Bowling Green (insert transitive property) who beat Georgia Tech, who barely lost to Louisville, who beat Notre Dame, who lost on the last play of the game to Ohio State.

Works every time, some of the time.

D-II can be a lot of fun for the reasons that you mention. Plus, the playoff format is regional. You get weekly agony starting in Week 8 with the first rankings on through the rest to the season.

Rich Rodriguez was reported to be the next head coach of Alabama heading into the 2007 season. He backed out and remained the head coach at West Virginia, and was so close to playing for a national title in 2007.

He then went to Michigan for 3 years and Arizona for 6.

He’s now coaching Jacksonville State and playing on Tuesday nights.

What a world college football is.

Agreed, I had a ton of fun watching these games last night! I’m a single dude in my 20s though, so it’s not like I have anything else going on
