Not true. Desert Storm was successful. Trump eliminated ISIS successfully and had stabilized the ME until Biden fricked it all up
The biggest issues for us since WW2 is
1. After WW2 we agreed to international laws on how to conduct war to limit war crimes/civilian casualties which handcuffs us from going all out.
2. We then choose to go to war in shithole nations full of ruthless people with nothing to lose who do not follow such rules.
3. In every case other than 9-11 we were not directly attacked, so support for the war by the people was lukewarm at best.

They allied with the Soviets to defeat Germany as neither of us were strong enough to defeat Germany on our own. It didn't have anything to do with the USA supporting communism (although there were traitors in our government who were avowed commies and were committing espionage for the Soviets).

We had no business supplying the British, forcing Germany's hand. Same goes for Russia. Germany was never a threat to America & Hitler did not want to go to war with Britain in the first place, but Churchill was a War Hawk. Our involvement in Western Europe was as dumb as WWI. It only served to help FDR try to find a way to truly pull us out of The Great Depression. Allowing the Soviet Union to acquire Eastern Europe was just mind boggling especially after they had already attacked Finland. We simply made it easy for them to conquer Germany. If we were going to get involved in the war, we should have formed an alliance with Germany to truly stop the real Communist threat, the Soviet Union. Had we done this, maybe, just maybe, the World would have been a better place today. Oh and France, they had it coming, remember the harsh peace terms they put on Germany after WWI, the Germans never forgot! The point of all this is our leadership continues to get us involved in wars or conflicts that only seems to create more havoc. We had no business supplying Ukraine, where it only served to benefit a few politicians and corporations. Now they want to get us involved with helping Israel, why? Israel is perfectly capable of defending itself, so why does everything fall on us, the American taxpayer to fund other countries with no benefit to America? Will Ukraine or Israel ever help America? Of course not, we are being used by a World that shits on us...

Ironically, after all it took to get there, we 'won' in Iraq in the sense that the Husseins and Baathists are out and a nominally cooperative government has been installed.
Moreover, we succeeded in pacifying (as best you can) Afghanistan until President Biden fricked up the win.

horseshite. Our govt was littered with communists during WW2, you even admit that!! It still is.
But, but, but, but just because our govt was and still is full of commies, we allied with the commies so that we could defeat Germany. Who was staunchly anti-commie, but that's just a red herring.
Tell me, you scholar you, how many countries were communist AFTER ww2 that weren't communist BEFORE ww2?

I believe the world is in turmoil because the US has shite the bed at every turn since a rigged election installed the Don of a Political Influence Peddling Crime Syndicate into the presidency.
Biden has shown nothing but weakness and the fact that global turmoil is spiking is not mere coincidence. Every enemy of the US sees weakness and an opportunity to bring the US to it's knees with multiple military confrontations.
